These Powerful Habits are composed from The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg.

“I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.”

These habits are made in two forms:

- Practical things you can do

- Habits of Thought Processes (which are just another name for decision making processes)

Tech Kaya’s lot of books that were read back in 2018

12 Powerful Habits To Improve Your Decision Making Processes

  1. Meditation (every morning)
  2. Workouts (every week — I prefer morning and 3x a week, M,W, & F)
  3. Drinking Tea while reading a book
  4. Plan your Schedule for the day (the night before)
  5. Plan your Schedule for the week (once a week)
  6. Plan your Schedule for the month (beginning, middle, and end of the month)
  7. Plan your Schedule for the the next 3 months (I started doing this in September… so December I decide when to build schedule again for the next three months)
  8. Writing down notes and reading them aloud to yourself
  9. Have a time during the day where you reward yourself after doing a lot of work (Can be 5–15 minute breaks after 1 hour of pure straight work like watching a funny YouTube video, looking at meme’s, or eating a snack)
  10. First Things First -> Do the the number one most important priority of the day FIRST THING IN THE MORNING that make you feel good about your productivity that day.
  11. 80/20 principle -> Have fewer choices by choosing what will can give you 80% of the results you want by picking the 20% that can do that (minimalist living)
  12. Focus on what you want done and then focus what you need to do -> By focusing on what you want done first, you eliminate the stress and tension build up that is unnecessary for your health, work, and relationships… After you finished what you WANTED done, you can then feel good about moving on to what you NEED done (you won’t feel as much stress if you follow habit #5–7)

“Insignificant decisions soak up all of your attention and energy so that you can’t perform your best when important decisions need to be made.”

The key point for you to remember is that there are 2 types of habits.

A habit where you keep a mindset, way of thinking

AND

A habit where you actually continue to do some form of routine.

Know this, understand yourself, and you can make new habits and break old (bad) habits.
